The Diersch &amp; Schr\u00f6der Group is a shareholder and, as one of six partners, a proud part of the HY.City.Bremerhaven consortium, which develops, plans, implements, and operates <strong>commercial facilities for the production and refueling of green hydrogen<\/strong>. <\/p>\n<h3 class=\"h2\">2-Megawatt Electrolyzer Delivered<\/h3>\n<p>Following the announcement of the construction of a powerful 2-megawatt electrolyzer for the <strong>sustainable production of hydrogen from wind energy<\/strong> and the establishment of a public hydrogen refueling station in front of the Bremerhaven public transport depot, work is in full swing. Trial operations are set to begin at the end of March, with green hydrogen being produced to fuel the first hydrogen buses at BremerhavenBus. BremerhavenBus will be the first permanent consumer of the sustainable fuel, thus <strong>paving the way for clean transportation in the city<\/strong>. In addition, BremerhavenBus has ordered three eCitaro fuel cell articulated buses from Mercedes-Benz. This model was awarded &#8220;Bus of the Year&#8221; and &#8220;Ecological Bus of the Year&#8221; in the national competition by the Spanish editorial EDITEC. With their hydrogen-based fuel cell range extender, these buses can <strong>travel longer distances while transporting up to 127 passengers<\/strong>. The new technology enables a range of up to 400 km without recharging.
