A special moment for our Bremen headquarters\u2013 and for the entire DS Group: Memeler Stra\u00dfe has officially been renamed Diersch\u2011und\u2011Schr\u00f6der\u2011Stra\u00dfe.<\/p>\n
While this may appear a purely formal change at first glance, it carries far greater significance for us. The new street name pays visible tribute to the history of our family\u2011owned company, generations of entrepreneurial courage, and to our deep roots in the Hanseatic city of Bremen.<\/p>\n
From now on, the street will bear the name of our corporate group, serving as a daily reminder of the people who have built, shaped, and continuously developed Diersch & Schr\u00f6der.<\/p>\n
The DS Groups origins date back to 1920. In Bremen\u2019s Neustadt district, 18\u2011year\u2011old Otto Diersch founded a small mineral oil business, supplying shipping and industry by handcart. From these humble beginnings, a diversified corporate group has gradually emerged, operating internationally in the fields of energy, chemicals, and young business ventures.
