Polytives GmbH: Pioneers in Polymer Additive Technology

Polytives GmbH develops and markets polymeric additives for the polymer industry. These products improve processing processes and expand the application spectrum of the target polymer. Polytives shares the vision of developing polymers more intelligently, using them more sustainably, and continuing to position them technologically as a material of the future.

The expertise of the young company stems from the research project started in 2014 by Polytives co-founders Oliver Eckardt and Prof. Felix H. Schacher. Together with business economist Viktoria Rothleitner, they have planned and established the company in Jena/Thuringia since 2018 from an EXIST project. The research findings from that time have since been successfully scaled to industrial levels. The multiply awarded team in recent years (for example, it ranked twice among the TOP 50 start-ups in Germany) pursues the ambitious goal of making the novel additives usable in every polymer in the world.
