Our Responsibility
Compliance in the
Diersch & Schröder Group
Ethical compliance is an integral aspect of the Diersch & Schröder Group’s corporate operations, underscoring our dedication to conforming with laws and regulations. Trust and integrity are the basis of our actions. Compliance is therefore not a task for us and certainly not a burden, but a matter of course.
Lawful Behaviour
Why Compliance?
The risks of becoming a target of unlawful behavior when initiating or performing business transactions and providing services are increasing. Despite stricter penalties, corruption and money laundering remain a constant threat for companies acting in good faith to becoming involved in the criminal activities of others.
The rapid development of national and international legal regulations affecting the business areas of the DS Group also requires constant monitoring, control of compliance and timely and appropriate responses to identified violations.
Through the implementation of appropriate measures for prevention, clarification, monitoring and, where necessary, penalties, unlawful and unethical behavior should be avoided to prevent any economic and reputational damages.
Our Compliance
Management System
The implementation of group-wide structures and internal guidelines has enabled the DS Group to satisfy its responsibilities within the framework of applicable laws and to identify and address unlawful or even criminal behavior by third parties. Our Compliance Management System (CMS) provides a framework for operating successfully in an international environment, simultaneously safeguarding the DS Group and its employees in the process.
Risk Analysis
As part of a risk analysis, we assess the operating business of each subsidiary with regard to the respective risks in the area of compliance.
Guidelines
The guidelines listed here have been issued as part of the CMS and apply to the entire DS Group. They are sent to all employees via our HR system and implemented in a legally binding manner.
Trainings
The required compliance training is provided annually via our training tool. Participation in these training courses is mandatory for our employees.
Whistleblowing System
The DS Group has implemented a Whistleblowing System to identify actual or suspected unlawful behaviour, and to enable employees and third parties to report it anonymously.
